Enid Blyton was Britain’s most prolific and famous children’s author.
She wrote short stories, stand alone books and many series fiction books.

Changes to Enid Blyton’s original text:
Modern publications (from the 1980s onwards) often contain altered text, sometimes “inappropriate” content has been removed or altered (for example Golliwogs no longer feature in the Noddy books, Fanny and Dick from the Faraway Tree stories are now Fran and Richard) or modernization of the text may have occurred (for example “How queer” is sometimes changed to “How weird”. Additionally, some modern editions contain abridged text.
Pre 1980’s edition (both hardcover and paperback) can contain unaltered works, or works with only minor alterations.
Pre 1968 hardcover editions are likely to contain all the original text.
